Jonathan Bergman Named Vice President Of Palisades Hudson

Jonathan M. Bergman has been named vice president of Palisades Hudson Financial Group LLC. He continues to serve as the organization’s chief investment officer. Jonathan, 30, holds the Certified Financial Planner designation and is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. He is the first Palisades Hudson professional apart from the firm’s founder and president, Larry M. Elkin, to be named to an executive officer position, in which he is expected to play a major role in the company’s future growth.

Jonathan joined the firm as a summer intern in 1994 and became a full-time employee in 1997, when he received his business degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He played a leading role in establishing the investment advisory practice now conducted through Palisades Hudson Asset Management L.P., and became the organization’s first client service manager in 1999.
