Thomas Walsh joined our Atlanta office in 2011 as a client service associate and became a client service manager in 2015. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant and serves clients through his involvement in all areas of the practice, including financial planning, asset management and tax preparation.
During his time at Palisades Hudson, Thomas has written several articles for our Sentinel newsletter, including “Should I Buy Renters Insurance?” (May 2018 online edition, co-authored with Max Klein); “Lessons From The Nashville Flood Of 2010” (June 2017); the two-part series “Tax Tips For The Self-Published Author” (April 2016) and “More Tax Tips For Self-Published Authors” (June 2016); and “Fixed-Income Strategies In A Rising-Rate Era” (June 2015). Thomas is also the author of Chapter 8, “Education Funding,” in our firm’s book, Looking Ahead: Life, Family, Wealth and Business After 55.
A cum laude graduate with a B.S. in finance from the University of Florida, Thomas completed an entrepreneurial internship prior to joining the Palisades Hudson team. During his time at UF, he helped to organize “Wake Up!,” a club dedicated to informing and educating students about current events, specifically the economic crisis and future implications of budget deficits.
Thomas is a native of Ormond Beach, Florida.
