Irene Castro Céspedes, CPA, joined Palisades Hudson’s Atlanta office in early 2026. She collaborates with colleagues across the country on client projects in areas including investment, bookkeeping and tax.
Prior to joining Palisades Hudson, Irene worked as a staff tax accountant, building her tax return skills. She earned the certified public accountant credential in fall 2025. Irene holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, with a concentration in accounting, and a master’s degree in professional accounting. While earning her undergraduate degree, she double majored in economics at Emory's College of Arts and Sciences. During her time at Emory, Irene was a student member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon (an economics honor society).
A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Irene currently resides in Atlanta with her golden retriever, who she loves to take on hikes and road trips.
