Laurie Samay
Investment Analyst
Laurie joined our Scarsdale office full time in 2012, after earning her B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in finance and French, from Washington University in St. Louis. She began her Palisades Hudson career as a summer administrative intern, focusing on the company’s social media presence and internal training practices; she completed a client service internship with the firm in the summer of 2011. Laurie is currently involved in all areas of our business, including accounting, tax and investment.
While in college, Laurie was a brother of the international coed business fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi, and received that organization’s Scholarship Key. She also served as a teaching assistant for Introduction to Microeconomics and Quantitative Business Analysis II (Statistical Regression), and spent a semester studying abroad in Paris. After completing her studies, she took additional time to travel in Europe, including Italy and France.
Laurie is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, which honors academic achievement in the study of business. She is a native of Hastings on Hudson, N.Y.
