Promotions, Additions Enhance Palisades Hudson Staff

Veteran staff members David Walters and Paul Jacobs will assume new responsibilities as client service managers for Palisades Hudson Financial Group LLC next month, as three new associates enlarge our professional team.

David, a CPA, will continue to work in our Scarsdale office, while Paul, a certified financial planner, will transfer to Fort Lauderdale to join Shomari Hearn on our Florida staff.

David and Paul, both 26, came to Palisades Hudson in 2002 after earning degrees in finance and accounting from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Paul is from Queens, N.Y. David hails from northern Wisconsin. They share training and supervisory responsibility for new associates Erica Fiscella, Michael Fulop and Anna Gier.  The three new employees joined our firm in June, shortly after their college graduations.

Erica, 23, a New Jersey native, received a degree in finance from Rutgers University College–Newark, where she was in the Honors College and the Alpha Sigma Lambda honor society. While in college, she worked full time as an office manager for a Newark wholesale company.

Michael, 22, was raised on Long Island and graduated from Harpur College at the State University of New York–Binghamton, where he majored in economics and mathematical sciences. While in school, he worked as a teaching assistant in microeconomic theory and he had a summer internship as an actuarial consultant. Michael is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the Golden Key International Honor Society and the Phi Eta Sigma national honor society.

Anna, 20, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Vassar College, with a major in economics and a minor in mathematics. She spent her junior year abroad at the London School of Economics, where she was a member of the Women’s Rugby Football Club, the Women in Business Society, the Marketing Society and the Finance Society. At Vassar, Anna was a member of the varsity women’s rowing team. Anna grew up in the Kentucky suburbs of Cincinnati and attended the Covington Latin School.
